I saw them only once on the Clash of the Titans tour with Slayer and Megadeth at the Cow Palace in SF years ago. They were really good.

I was talking about armored saint. john bush was the singer in that band, and scott ian (anthrax) kicked out Joey Belladonna cus he wanted a "harder" edge to their sound..which ruined the band as far as i'm concerned. One of the thingsthat made them so different was the heavy, thrash riffing with joey's melodic voice. he had character and a great range.
john bush struggled for years with the early material in live performances cus he couldn't hit some of the high notes that joey hit.
it was a bad move for the band, and it shows because they "reunited" with joey the last time i heard. John Bush is a great singer, but he is not known for his range. He's a great fuckin guy too. He just doesn't have that great of a range.
